- Pick up the old Oundle road at Alwalton (access from A1). Head down to Elton then turn right towards Wansford. A43 Duddington to Weldon is good if the road isn’t too busy. Oundle up to Elton is dull but it’s only 3 miles. Nice pub in Wansford on the left before the bridge. Coffee shop in the centre of Oundle by the war memorial.
